Required Conferences & Voluntary Workshops

During the Fall 2021 semester, most meetings will be virtual. If a student requests an in-person, socially-distanced, and masked meeting, one can be arranged in Mr. Smith's office in Henderson Hall 218B.

In English 1010 or 1020, we require one formal conference with the instructor outside of class to discuss your progress in the course.

Additionally, during my regular office hours, I am available to schedule voluntary workshops where we can address any and all issues or concerns you might have with the class or your writing.

The most successful students typically take advantage of Voluntary Workshops with Mr. Smith.

In literature courses, one-on-one conferences are not expected or required, but are available for any student that might request one.
